About Us

We initiate strategic relationships in dentistry. Relationships between senior dentists and new dentists, between dentists and consultants, between dentists and CPAs, between dentists and web development companies, among others.

Our founder, Joe Spencer, has extensive experience in software development and real estate development. Applying this unique background, he has identified (with the help of many practicing dentists), several ways to improve dental practice transitions and build strategic relationships for dentists and dental professionals.

As a real estate investor and developer, Joe was surprised by the conflict of interest found in dental transitions. Selling brokers charge a commission on the valuation of the practice -- the higher the valuation, the more the broker makes. In real estate, that could get the broker tossed in jail. The new dentist often has few funds with which to purchase representation, and is often significantly under represented in transition negotiations.

Joe also saw a lack of standardization in the methods to transition practices. Real estate uses standardized methods and contracts for almost all transactions -- eve multi-million dollar deals. Dental practice transitions should be no different.

All of these issues create a certain lack of information, which breeds distrust. Distrust creates failures in transitions. Failed transitions can be very costly for both the senior dentist and the new dentist.

We solve these problems and build trust. We facilitate smoother transitions at a significant savings for dentists. New dentists: our tools are no cost... give them a try. Senior dentists: you will be surprised by how easy we have made transitioning without the use of a full-service broker or transition consultant. Our step-by-step methods will give you better results.

Joe Spencer, founder

Joe graduated from Weber State University with a BS in Computer Science in 1990, taking only 2.5 years to complete the degree. He worked for several different companies first as a computer programmer, then as manager, director, and vice president. In 1998, Joe began investing in real estate. He bought, renovated and sold over one hundred rental units. Next, he built a 475 unit storage unit facility, taking the land through entitlement processing to final walk through. Then Joe began land development for small and medium subdivisions.

Joe has also served on the board of several small companies and non-profit organizations. He was a founding member of John Hancock Charter School and the Pleasant Grove Business Alliance.
